HTC One X S and V available in Europe next week

first_imgWith Samsung safely in the background, HTC was free to dominate the news at the recent Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. Even if Samsung has been on hand to show off a new device, the HTC One series would still have been noticed. For some potential buyers, the wait is almost over; the HTC One X, S, and V are coming out next week in several European nations.HTC’s flagship device is the HTC One X, which runs a Nvidia Tegra 3 quad-core ARM chip. There is a second version of the One X that will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 with an LTE radio in the US, but the HSPA+ version in Europe will be Tegra. The One X will also offer a 4.7-inch 720p Super LCD screen. The One S is the more mid-range option in HTC’s new lineup. The One S will have a dual-core Snapdragon S4 and a 4.3-inch AMOLED screen. The resolution is lower here, at just qHD 960×540. The back of the One S uses a unique oxidized ceramic material that HTC claims is extra durable. The One V is at the low end of the One series, but still looks impressive. This device has a single-core 1GHz processor, and a 3.7-inch WVGA Super LCD screen. The body design of the One V calls back to HTC’s past with an aggressive chin at the bottom of the handset. All three phones run HTC’s build of Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich. In addition to the improvements added by Google, HTC has Beats audio and 25GB of Dropbox storage built in. The devices will first be on sale in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland starting April 2. The One X will retail for 599 Euros, the One S for 499 Euros, and the One V for 299 Euros.via The Unwiredlast_img read more
